Our Team

Peter is the founder of Lennon Insurance Agency, Inc. which has been in business for over twenty years. Peter attended the University of Maine, Orono and Salem State College where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. He earned his Charted Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) Designation in 1995. Peter attributes his success largely to community involvement. Peter is an active member of the Woburn Historical Society. He enjoys restoring old houses and in 2004 was the first ever recipient of the City of Woburn’s Historical Commission’s Preservation Award for Historical Architectural Restoration of the Lennon Insurance Building. Peter enjoys spending quality time with his wife Dawn and their two sons Peter and Jack.

Dawn serves as the Office Manager for Lennon Insurance. She holds an Insurance Producer License in both Property and Casualty Insurance. She attended Bentley University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy, graduating cum laude. After college, she worked in the tax department at KPMG Peat Marwick. While at KPMG, she earned her Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) designation. In 1997 she started work at Thermo Fisher Scientific in their corporate tax department. She remained there until shortly after the birth of her oldest child Peter in 2007. She also owns and operates Lennon CPA Tax Services, LLC which serves the tax needs of Lennon Insurance clients. She enjoys baking, exercising, and doting on her two sons, Peter and Jack. She also enjoys family time spent at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester.

Shasta joined the Lennon Insurance team in August 2015 and has over 20 years of industry experience. She always strives to give her clients great customer service. She excels at understanding what the best coverage would be for their specific insurance needs. She received her Massachusetts Personal Lines Insurance Broker license in 2013. She is fully licensed in New Hampshire as well. In addition to her professional credentials, she is also a Notary Public in Massachusetts. When Shasta is not here at the Lennon office, you will find her spending time with her two daughters, her husband Jeremy, and their two dogs, Bella and Luna. She enjoys dancing, dining out with family and friends, and traveling.

Justina Lapham joined Lennon Insurance Agency in October of 2019. She brings over 20 years of personal lines insurance experience; including 4 years of X/S and Surplus Lines, which gives her a unique edge in placing more difficult risks. She has had her Property and Casualty license since 2005 and a CISR designation since 2008.

Her goal is to provide you and your family with the assistance in building a financial safety net. By keeping up with insurance trends and staying committed to providing outstanding customer service, it is her mission to become a helpful resource to each and every Lennon Insurance customer she represents.

When not in the Lennon Insurance office, she loves volunteering at Billerica Memorial High School as the head of the costume shop for the Drama Department. She spends the rest of her time with her husband Budd and daughter Klaudia, and enjoys off roading in their Jeep and going to the family cottage.

Carol joined the team in 2020. She comes highly qualified having earned her Property & Casualty and Health license in 2009, and then her CISR designation in 2011. With her skillset, she looks forward to servicing our commercial clients and keeping them up to date with all their insurance needs. When not at work, Carol enjoys spending time with her husband Joe. The relax by taking long rides, traveling, and going to car shows with friends. Carol and her husband are always busy with their 5 children and 8 grandkids - family events are always fun!

Sonja joined the Lennon Insurance Team in October 2019. She brings many years of accomplished business experience having been employed in the insurance industry for 19 years prior to working in the Murphy family business for 13 years, providing all with excellent customer service. She is a dedicated team player who genuinely enjoys helping others. In her down time, along with her husband Tom, she enjoys dining out with family and friends, spending quality time with family at the vacation home in Maine along with the annual Aruba vacations.

In December of 2006, Dot joined the Lennon Insurance team, bringing with her 31 years of insurance agency experience. Her vast knowledge of the insurance industry makes her a valuable asset as the agency receptionist. She keeps the phone calls and paperwork flowing in an orderly and efficient manner. She is a team player who considers her highest priority quality client service. Dot is very dedicated to her work and it is a pleasure to have her as the nucleus of the Lennon Insurance team. Dot enjoys time off with her family, and spoiling her great grand-child, and special trips to square dancing events in the area with her daughter and son-in-law.
